« And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. » (Romans 12:2) 

Train your senses
When we are young, we do not know what is good or bad. As we grow older, however, we become better at discerning good and evil. It is the same in the spiritual realm. Spiritually mature people can discern good and evil, but it does not happen automatically. The Bible says we need to train our senses for that. If you are still spiritually immature, chances are you did not train your senses.
Training of the senses is at the core of the SBCW curriculum. Students learn how to understand the true message behind mass media, like news articles and movies. At the end of the school, every student has to submit a paper that demonstrates his or her ability to reinterpret media from a Christian perspective.

How is your mind?
As human beings, we all have the capacity to think. This capacity is called « mind »(nous in Greek) in the Bible. When we become Christians, we receive new life (Jn 10:10), new identity (2Co 5:17), and a new purpose of living (Eph 2:10). But, our mind remains the same, unless we make efforts to transform it.

Think like Jesus
God has a purpose for the world, as it is revealed in the story of creation(Gen 1-2), and reinstated by Jesus(Mt 28:19-20). But, if our mind is unredeemed, we cannot understand the will of God for the World or ourselves(Ro 12:2). The School of Biblical Christian Worldview(SBCW) is designed to transform the mind, so that we, as Christians, can discover God’s will and live for Him.
